The Single View HD Decoder (DStv HD Decoder) is HD capable, Dolby Digital 5.1 Capable and comes with a  new user interface (all the screens and menus you use when watching TV). It also has great search features (making it easy for you to find something to watch), plus an eight-day TV Guide and the ability to control what your kids can watch with Parental Control.

Xtra-View:

DStv customers can watch different live TV shows in two separate rooms at the same time. You can now connect two decoders using  Xtra-View. The good news is you only pay one subscription fee plus an Access Fee for the other Xtra-View connection. The ability to connect two decoders under one subscription gives our customers more flexibility to create a set up that suits their family needs.
