One precautions before use

When the module is connected to the antenna and the power supply, pay attention to check the voltage range of the power supply and the positive and negative electrodes before turning on the power. The working voltage of this module is 3.7-5.2V, which cannot exceed the maximum voltage, otherwise the module will be burnt out. It is recommended that users use batteries or iron core transformers + 7805 voltage regulator chips for power supply, and try not to use switching power supplies. The EMI of most switching power supplies will cause great interference in the AM/SW band, which may cause the radio station to not be received in the radio mode. phenomenon.

If the user needs an external audio power amplifier, it is best not to use a Cla D digital power amplifier, which will also interfere with the radio mode. Try to use linear audio power amplifiers.

When the module is powered on, the default is the radio FM receiving mode. You can search for radio stations by adjusting the frequency knob, and the frequency display value will follow the change and display the current frequency. The speaker is recommended to use a 16Ω/0.5W or 8Ω/0.25W speaker. Considering the stability of the battery voltage during aviation reception, it is recommended that the volume of the speaker should not be turned on too high, or an external audio power amplifier should be connected. Because the louder the volume will cause interference to the power supply and affect the reception effect.

The module AM antenna coil uses I-shaped 220uH inductor as a simple AM antenna (it can also receive many units, you need to see whether the local signal has interference, if the interference is large, you will definitely not be able to receive the station), the user can replace it with a magnetic rod Antenna (220-420uH), the magnetic rod antenna is as far away from the module as poible to make AM/SW band signal receiving sensitivity better and easier to close.

The antenna is mainly responsible for receiving radio waves from space. According to the antenna selection rules, the length of the antenna should be as close as poible to the 1/4 wavelength of the receiving frequency. For example, if you want to receive a 100MHz radio station, the ideal length of the antenna is L=(wave speed/frequency)/4 =300000000/100000000=75cm. It is recommended to use a 75 cm length special telescopic antenna for FM radio.

Volume adjustment knob

Pre the knob for a short time: enter the parameter setting mode, set SNR/AGC/EQ/BFO/BW and SSB sideband mode and other parameters.

Pre the knob for a long time (time greater than 2S): Exit the parameter setting mode.

Rotate the knob left and right: When in the volume adjustment mode, the left and right knobs change the volume of the audio output of the module. Adjust the size of the parameter value when in the parameter setting mode.

LSB: SSB band sideband lower sideband receiving mode.

USB: SSB with sideband upper sideband receiving mode.

CW: Constant-amplitude telegram reception mode.

Bluetooth mode
