BB Black is a development kit based on AM335x processors. The processor integrates the ARM Cortex-A8 core and provides a wealth of peripheral interfaces. The expansion interfaces of the Chinese version of BB-Black include network port, USB Host, USB OTG, TF card interface, serial port, JTAG interface (default not soldered), HDMI D Type interface, eMMC, ADC, I2C, SPI, PWM and LCD screen interface .
The application scenarios of the Chinese version of BB-Black are very wide, which can meet the requirements of game peripherals, home and industrial automation, consumer equipment, printers, intelligent charging systems, intelligent vending machine weighing systems, educational terminals, and advanced toys. Different needs in various fields.
The general-purpose interface includes 4 groups of general-purpose input and output interfaces (GPIO), and each group of GPIO modules provides 32 dedicated general-purpose interface input and output pins, so the general-purpose GPIO can be up to 128 (4x32) pins.
The Programmable Real-Time Unit and Industrial Communication Subsystem (PRU-ICSS) contains two 32-bit RISC cores (Programmable Real-Time Units, or PRUs), memory, terminal controllers, and internal peripherals capable of supporting more peripheral interfaces and protocols.
