The bigger of the animal’s size,the higher it should be installed. For better results, please keep the head of the device 9-10 inches above the ground. For some big size animals, we recommend you hang the device on a wall/fence. 5：Twist "Audible Alarm" knob to turn on/off alarm beeps, and adjust the volume (clockwise to turn up the volume). HOW IT WORKS When animals enter protective area, the PIR (Paive Infrared) motion r will trigger the repeller to emit powerful ultrasonic wave, strong LED flashing lights and alarm beeps to frighten unpleasant intruders. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) : What animals can this device repel? Can it work on birds? A: Theoretically speaking, our product can repel all animals. And it has a proven 98.5% succe rate against dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, rats, voles, racs, foxes and more other rodents!Some aggreive animals or birds used to living with human may not feel scared by ultrasound or LED flashing lights, but the optional audible alarm will help on scaring them away. So we suggest to set the frequency at band “5” and turn on audible alarm for these animals. Q2: I installed it in my garden yesterday, but I still found some racs walked aroundin it this morning. Does not it work on racs? A: Usually ultrasonic products will not produce instant effect, it may take 10-15 days to deliver the full deterrent effect on some aggreive animals. These animals will feel uncomfortable about the ultrasound from installation but hesitate to immediately leave the places they are used to living in. So we suggest you observe for some more days to see the result. Q3: It worked well for about a month, but stopped working today. Is it defective? A: If the battery’s power is depleted or working voltage decreased too much, the device also fail to work. So please firstly try to charge it via USB cord for 1-2 hours to fully regain its power. And then test whether it resumes working again. If the problem still exist, please kindly contact our service team for getting a free replacement.
