Rosemary, scientifically known as Rosmarinus officinalis belongs to the Labiatae or Lamiaceae family of plants. Other members of that plant family include Oregano, Lemon Salvia, Balm, Mint and Marjoram. Rosemary Essential oil by Nailycious is Pure and distilled from the young shoots and leaves of the Rosemary herb. A 2015 study of 100 people with androgenic alopecia found that applying rosemary oil to the scalp for six months is as effective as a minoxidil (Rogaine) 2%  treatment in incrementing the hair count compared to baseline hair counts. The group that used rosemary oil reported better treatment adherence in comparison compared with the minoxidil group.
