The SmartLife Universal IR remote Controller uses your smartphone to control home appliances such as TVs, STBs (Set Top Boxes), Fans, Air Conditioners, Hi-Fis, Home Theatres etc. It is compatible with all brands and has a LEARNING FUNCTION that allows you to replicate the functions of the original remote controllers via the app (SmartLife or Tuya apps). You can store up to 100 remotes in your smartphone and you won't have to look for the remotes to operate various devices in your home. You'll need to have a Wi-Fi connection in your home because communications between your phone and the devices happen over the Wi-Fi. You can also operate the devices while far away from home like switching on the TV, AC, etc.
The devices and appliances don't have to be smart devices, they just need to be remote control operated. You will also need to have a remote for the device to learn the process.
Note: Not compatible with home appliances which use RF or BLUETOOTH remote control.
