Key Features
HOW TO FILL UP A BALLOON USING THE HELIUM GAS TANK
- Step 1: Lift the tank out of the box by its handles.
- Step 2: Position the tank with the nozzle facing away from you. Check to see that the nozzle is tight on its stem. Turn the valve handle counter clockwise three full turns.
- Step 3: Hold the balloon with both hands. Stretch the balloon opening enough to slide it onto the nozzle.
- Step 4: With one hand on the balloon neck and nozzle, pinch the balloon and press down on the nozzle. That hissing sound is the helium being released from the tank to fill the balloon. When your balloon reaches the recommended size, let up on the nozzle to stop the release of helium. But do not let go of the balloon.
- Step 5: Remove the balloon by pinching it at the tip of the nozzle and sliding it off the neck off the nozzle shaft. Tie a knot in the balloon neck to secure helium from escaping.
- Step 6: Please do not allow your helium-filled balloons to get out of your reach. Attach ribbon or string where you knotted the balloon, and tie them to something stationary, or use balloon weights.
- Step 7: When you're finished, close the valve by turning the valve handle clockwise until it's tight.
- Step 8: Bend the nozzle to release any extra pressure.
- Step 9: Store the tank in its original box.
- Note: Balloon inflation figures are based on indoor estimates at room temperature. Altitude, temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity will affect float time and balloon size.
- The number of balloons you can inflate depends on the size and shape of the balloon you chose to create. Do not over-inflate.
