PULUZ 48V Phantom Power Source for Condenser Microphone
Features
48 volt phantom power is what powers condenser microphones. The polar plate of the condenser head in the condenser microphone needs a certain voltage to establish an electric field to work (the electret microphone does not need a 48-volt phantom power because it has a resident polarized electric field), while the microphone amplifier (also called the pre-amplifier) in the condenser microphone ) is also powered. Therefore, the main function of the 48-volt phantom power is to supply power to the condenser head and microphone amplifier in the condenser microphone.
